Pricing and availability


Very much part of the Edwardian railway scene. The open carriage truck was used for the transport of horse drawn or motor road vehicles, traditionally the Gentlemen's carriage. These vehicles were long lived, the last being scraped in 1953. The carriage truck was fully fitted for conveyance in passenger trains and was seen throughout the country.

Made from etched brass our model has white metal axle boxes, vacuum pipes and brass sprung buffers. A plastic floor, compartment wall and preformed plastic roof is supplied. This model comes complete with transfers requiring only paint and wheels to complete. To download the current Assembly Instructions: Version 2.00 released October 2001, 4 Sides A4 (240Kb Acrobat 3.01 file).
